This project was formed by a group of women representing resources such as Chief Mary Bernard's Memorial Women's Shelter on Lennox Island, Kids West Family Resource Centre, PEI Association for Newcomers West Prince, PEI Family Violence Prevention Service, Aboriginal Women Associations, Chances Family Centre, representative of Women's Institute as well as some members of the Communities that form the group "Justice Options for Women in West Prince PEI".
Through Circle of Connection a network of Volunteers in the Communities will provide assistance to individual women when the need is required. As a volunteer you would be contacted when the need arose.

This free outreach is creating services to meet the needs of our participants!
Women who have or are experiencing problems due to abuse in West Prince have expressed worry and fear about being on their own. One of the obstacles they encounter are everyday household responsibilities. |
Goal:
Our goal is to create opportunities in West Prince to support Women to become confident independent individual. Through a network of Volunteers in the communities that would provide assistance to individual women when a need required. |
Requirements for Participants using this service:
1. You have experienced abuse or are in an abusive relationship. 2. You have limited support system in place. 3. Women 18 years and older. 4. Referrals |
